Babydoll Pencils Ink and Colors

I scanned in each stage of the process of creating this piece. It's 11x17 on Bristol and colored with Prismas. Yes, I know everyone else uses Copics, and I will get around to using them eventually, but I can't throw out $200 worth of markers I already have yet!

I'd never drawn Babydoll before but had always wanted to, so this piece was a great joy to do! Even if the movie was barely a movie, there's not denying that the action was amazing and that the girls were total bad-asses!

Speaking of asses, I knew I wanted to draw her with a little peek-a-boo booty-- for obvious reasons. Plus it keeps things playful and sexy but not exploitative. (In my opinion, anyway.)
